What Information Is Needed?

To have your birth chart done, three pieces of information are critical:

• Your birth date
• The exact time of birth or as close as possible to it, with the time zone indicated as well. This may be on your birth certificate or in the hospital record. If you have to call your birthplace to get a copy of your birth certificate, make sure you specify that it needs to be a copy of the certificate itself. Some municipalities simply issue a statement that you were born at a certain place on a certain day that has an official seal. The time is most likely to be in the record itself. You can even specify that you want to make sure the birth time is included.
• The place where you were born.
