By helping your conscious mind to step aside, it lets your subconscious
mind step forward so you—and your hypnotist—communicate directly with your subconscious
mind.
And it's in the subconscious mind that our habits, memories, feelings and
automatic behaviors are stored.
Your conscious mind can think or say you want to stop smoking or eating or go
to the gym every day, but if you don't convince your subconscious mind that you and it want to do that,
it's not going to happen—or it's not going to happen quickly or well. Hypnosis helps you do
that.
